How to use the Intersurgical EcoLite Adult Tracheostomy Mask

  1. Attach the oxygen tubing from the mask to the oxygen supply.
  2. Set the oxygen to the prescribed concentration.
  3. Place the mask over the tracheostomy site, securing it comfortably with the adjustable straps.
  4. Check regularly to ensure the mask is properly positioned and securely fitted. Any movement or loosening could obstruct the tracheostomy tube, hindering breathing.
  5. After use, remove the mask and clean it thoroughly with warm, soapy water.
  6. To maintain hygiene and functionality, regularly inspect the mask for signs of wear or damage and replace it as needed.

Note: It is essential to monitor the patient for any signs of discomfort or changes in their breathing pattern while using the mask and to adjust as necessary.
