With an unrivalled safe working load, our Eezi-Transfer Lateral Transfer Board is suitable for almost any laying transfer situation. We have nicely rounded the handles and edges to significantly aid manoeuvrability and carriability, and consequently makes positioning under a patient easier for the carer and less intrusive for the patient.

The HD Eezi-Transfer™ Lateral Board allows sliding transfers from beds to trolleys and other such surfaces like operating tables, to be made without lifting. Simultaneously, performing transfers using this product reduces the dangers associated with patient lifting. When used in conjunction with one of our transfer sheets, their smooth, anti-static exterior allows a patient to be easily slid from one surface to another. In addition, the anti-slip strips on the base of the transfer board help to maintain the board’s position during the transfer.

The result is a patient lateral transfer that has both minimal disturbance to the patient, and equally importantly minimal risk to their carers.

The curved version of our transfer board ranges are particularly useful for side by side sitting transfers that involve a chair or wheelchair. Made from our lightweight, but incredibly strong acrylic, they are easy to lift and position. Transferring between two surfaces where the user also has the added obstacle of a chair arm, is often awkward and can feel precarious. The inside curve of this sitting transfer board has been carefully calculated to assist.
