The Hybrid-Power support surface combines the pressure redistributing properties of high specification foam, with dynamic therapy. Castellated visco-elastic foam delivers a high degree of pressure redistribution as it conforms to the shape of the body, while alternating cells assist with pressure relief when the power unit is in use. A turning pillow provides additional comfort for the patient.

The time taken to move a patient out of bed to swap a support surface impacts on quality nursing time. If a patient requires a different therapy to be either 'stepped up' or 'stepped down', there can be a number of restraints. In addition, the costs associated with support surfaces can increase when two different surfaces are required.

The Kinetic Air hybrid mattress is part of our Hybrid mattress range combining the comfort of a static mattress with the pressure relief of alternating cells. The Kinetic Air is a replacement mattress system, combining air displacement technologies with the benefits of a static foam mattress.

As the patient moves, internal air pressure is redistributed through a system of valves. This redistribution prevents the patient from overheating whilst laying on the mattress, as the foam can breathe.

A castellated foam top and high resilience base aid in comfort and support for the patient. The walls of the mattress provide additional support by containing the foam core.

The Prime Comfort Active hybrid mattress combines all the benefits of a high risk static mattress, with those of an airflow dynamic system. The addition of cells give the ability to step up or step down patient care.

The Sensaflo Hybrid Mattress is the world’s first 4 in 1 hybrid mattress with foam-filled air cells, SensaGel adaptive foot cells and an in-use height of 6" for effective prevention and treatment of users up to very high risk of developing a pressure ulcer in hospital, nursing and care home environments.

The Sensaflo Hybrid has a built-in fire evacuation system with straps and handles, allowing the mattress to be quickly moved with the user in position during emergency situations. There are four adaptable gel-foam heel zone cells that can be individually removed and repositioned to create zero pressure under the heel.

When used without a pump the Sensaflo Hybrid performs the same as a high specification foam mattress and when used with a pump it performs the same as an alternating air system. There is no requirement to remove the user from bed to change from a foam system to an alternating air system.
