The Alerta Bariatric 2 is a replacement alternating pressure relieving mattress system with cell-on-cell air cells, a static base section and an in-use height of 10" for effective prevention and treatment of bariatric users at very high risk of developing a pressure ulcer in hospital, nursing and care home environments.

The Alerta SensaGel Heel Slope Mattress With Side Supports is a very high risk profiling memory foam mattress built with a high density base, memory foam top, a sloping heel section with gel memory foam and built-in side wedge support.

• Heel slope: assists pressure redistribution by alleviating pressure from the high risk heel area.
• SensaGel® heel section: gel-infused memory foam to prevent pressure sores on the heel.
• Side wedge support: prevents the user rolling over the edge of the mattress, reducing risk of falling out of bed. Also provides anti-entrapment by preventing the users limbs becoming trapped in side rails.

The mattress is designed with a section of v-cut base foam which creates additional air movement for enhanced pressure relieving properties, providing effective comfort, care and pressure redistribution for users in hospital, nursing and care home environments.

To launder the cover in a washing machine, set the main wash to 65^oC for no less than 10 minutes or 95^oC for no less than 3 minutes. The cover can be tumble dried on low heat and the temperature must not exceed 60^oC. The foam can be autoclaved at 134^oC.

The Alerta Sensaflo Hybrid is the world’s first 4 in 1 hybrid mattress with foam-filled air cells, SensaGel adaptive foot
cells and an in-use height of 6” for effective prevention and treatment of users up to very high risk of developing a
pressure ulcer.

When used without a pump the Alerta Sensaflo Hybrid performs as a high specification foam mattress and when used
with a pump it performs the same as an alternating air system. There is no requirement to remove the user from bed to
change from a foam system to an alternating air system.

The Alerta Sensaflo Hybrid has a built-in fire evacuation system with straps and handles, allowing the mattress to be
quickly moved with the user in position during emergency situations.

There are four adaptable gel-foam heel zone cells that can be individually removed and repositioned to create zero
pressure under the heel. By inflating the mattress and sealing off with the transport cap you can create a balanced-air
self-adjusting semi-active mattress.
