The MIP Bed Changing Trolley is a purpose-built linen management solution designed to streamline bed changing procedures in hospitals, care homes, nursing homes, and other clinical environments. Engineered for infection control compliance, it keeps clean and soiled linen completely separated throughout the entire bed-changing process — a critical requirement in any healthcare setting.

The trolley features three removable shelves with a built-in dividing panel that creates a clear physical barrier between fresh linen and used items. Clean bedding, pillowcases, and towels are stored neatly on the shelves above, while the lower compartment holds a single laundry bag to collect soiled linen directly at the point of use. This simple but effective design eliminates the need for staff to carry linen separately or make multiple trips, reducing cross-contamination risk and saving valuable time during ward rounds.

The removable shelves make loading, unloading, and deep cleaning quick and straightforward — essential for maintaining hygiene standards between uses. A fitted lid keeps clean linen protected from airborne contaminants as the trolley is moved through corridors and communal areas.

Mounted on smooth-rolling swivel castors, the LDK/BCT is easy to manoeuvre by a single member of staff, even when fully loaded. Its compact and practical design makes it equally well-suited to busy hospital wards, residential care facilities, and smaller nursing environments where space and efficiency are both priorities.

The storage caddy allows you to store all your PPE such as aprons, gowns, gloves and masks in one convenient place. It is ideally hung on the wall or on a door with the attached hanging straps. Can be wiped clean regularly with a mild detergent but we also recommend periodically washing at thermal disinfection temperatures to aid infection control standards.
