The Casa Elite Plus from Drive DeVillbiss is a specialized version of CASA’s profiling bed, tailored for bariatric care needs. This four-section electrical profiling bed features adjustable head, foot and knee sections to support effective care delivery. It provides enhanced clinical, safety and comfort benefits for both patients and carers, helping to reduce complications associated with immobility.

Advanced Profiling Functions
The CASA Elite Plus Bariatric Bed integrates advanced profiling features to promote resident comfort, dignity and wellbeing, while supporting clinical best practice.
Auto Contour – a pre-programmed profiling function that raises and lowers the backrest and knee break simultaneously. This helps maintain alignment and reduced sliding down the bed.
Auto Regression – as the backrest rises, the base slides backward to increase space in the pelvic area. This enhances comfort and mimics the spine’s natural movement.
Reverse Trendelenburg – provides a foot-down tilt of up to 12 ° elevating the head end of the bed. This position supports improved breathing and digestion while offering an alternative lying position to reduce discomfort or pressure.
Cardiac Chair Position - creates a semi-seated posture within the bed, ideal for patients who remain in bed for extended periods. It encourages interaction and self-feeding all while maintain comfort and support.
Lower Leg Elevation – this bed includes a ratchet mechanism to manually adjust the leg and calf section. Once the knee break is set, the lower leg angle can be raised and secured for elevation. To release, simply lift the leg section to its highest point and lower it.
