Compact Evacuation Mat

The Thorpe Mill Compact Evacuation Mat is constructed from highly durable fabric with a foam pad to provide ultimate levels of comfort during evacuation. The Mat is designed to be small and compact as well as exceptionally hard wearing. The Evacuation Mat is equipped with webbing that runs the full length of the unit, encapsulating both head and foot end pulling straps in one piece of very strong webbing. Once the patient is on the unit they can be enveloped for security by the wings on either side. A slippy underside ensures ease of movement on any surface, such as carpet, vinyl or concrete.

A risk assessment needs to be carried out prior to any training or emergency.

When not in use the Compact Evacuation Mat folds to a highly compact size and is fitted with loop handles to allow it to be hung from a wall.
